A man stabbed for his copy of Grand Theft Auto V

I was wondering when something like this was going to happen. The media are going to take this and blow it into another one of their anti-GTA campaigns. It’s a gamers nightmare.

Here’s a concise version of what happened:

In Colindale, North London, a 27-year-old man was walking home with his new copy of GTA V in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

3 children, aged 14, 15 and 17, have been charged with robbery and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on suspicion of stabbing the man and robbing him for his copy of GTA V.

3 others, aged 15, 17 and 18, have been released on bail.

They also took his phone, wallet and watch. This was a standard mugging. It just so happened that he had a copy of GTA V. I’m scared to see what the Daily Mail will say about this.

EDIT: I was right about the Daily Mail, take a look here.
