Ubisoft to release Watch_Dogs patch but say the locked high-res files on PC are unstable

So, finally, Ubisoft have announced that they will be release a patch to fix gameplay and graphical issues across all platforms starting with PS4 & PS3 then PC and finally Xbone and 360.

The main PC fix I am looking forward to is the control and performance fixes as after 1hr of playing I downright refused to play anymore until the game was patched.

Finally that patch is here:

Major Game Fixes

  • Automatically reconstructed corrupted save files which prevented loading to go further than 90%. Some collectibles may remain unrecoverable.
  • Fixed the issue preventing players from using hacks in game.

Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed several mission-breaking bugs.
  • Fixed minor mission and item-related issues.
  • Fixed the issue that caused the empty weapon-wheel.

Multiplayer Fixes

  • Fixed several minor respawn issues.
  • Fixed some connection and session joining issues.

PC Specific Fixes

  • Fixed graphical glitches on Low & Medium settings.
  • Fixed some crashes on SLI configurations.
  • Implemented several performance improvements.
  • Implemented a few control improvements.
  • Fixed issues causing infinite messaging and timing-out when trying to access the Online Shop from the Extras Menu while Uplay is set to Offline mode.
  • Fixed issues connecting to a Multiplayer game.
  • Implemented several mouse modifications.
  • Fixed “Drinking Game” control issue where wrong information was displayed when played with a gamepad.
  • Fixed “Chess Game” control issue.
  • Fixed bug where the invasion setting was never saved.

E3 – Aftermath: Top 5 to look forward to

Here’s is my list of the top 5 games that were announced/previewed at E3 2014

#1 – The Division

I’ve never written such a long in depth post in my life! Find it here.

#2 – Assassin’s Creed Unity

I played a couple of thesse in the past but slowly moved away from the franchise; however, Unity has pulled me right back in there with their trailer and interviews.

Titanfall Finally Announces New Game Modes & More

Respawn have FINALLY announced new game modes for Titanfall as a major update (not DLC). I haven’t played Titanfall in a while because I was bored with it…but it looks like I will be going back to it later this month. Burn cards for titans and new voiceovers will also be available…I imagine the latter will be at an additional cost.

Fracture - Lots of open ground and sneaky passages. This is my favorite of the two.

The new game modes include:

  • Marked for death: 6 v 6 VIP-esque game mode – protect your VIP while trying to kill the enemy’s
  • Wingman LTS: a 2 v 2 more tactical Last Titan Standing

“New Titan decals will also be available and unlockable upon completion of challenges.”

– PCGamer

This should have happened a long, long time ago and I’m still hella annoyed off that they removed 2 game modes when there was already so few.

Titanfall is another to be added to the list of games that had so much potential and simply did not deliver.

Mega disappointed with Titanfall. It’s fun, but it’s just lacking content…a lot of it!

Titanfall Expedition DLC will release this month on Xbox 360 (if it hasn’t already)
