E3 – Day One: Microsoft

Since in comparison to most I’m quite a part time gamer with a heavy preference for multiplayer, I’ll list off what I saw with their trailer and give my impressions out of 10

Overview:

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • The Witcher 3
  • INSIDE
  • Evolve
  • Assassins Creed Unity
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Though the graphics we see in this are truly impressive, we weren’t really shown much, but I think this game has high potential.

The Witcher 3

Beautiful graphics to say the least. I’ve not played anything in The Witcher series before but this has certainly peaked my interest.

[6/10]

INSIDE

I remember playing Limbo a few years ago developed by PlayDead (awesome name) and this game looks like a great next installment of their indie title. Limbo was, in my opinion, the first true indie game success story so I have high expectations of INSIDE.

[7/10]

Evolve

Not my style, but I think this will be pretty cool if it’s yours. [3/10]

Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Multiplayer

Ho-ly crap! This looks amazing. The potential you could set up in this game is endless. (More in my Ubisoft post)

[8.5/10]

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

[8/10] See here for my reasoning
