At E3 we saw some big titles from Ubisoft that all had one thing in common, co-op multiplayer and man did Ubisoft love shove it down our throats.
Assassins Creed Unity and Far Cry 4 will contain their usual single player mission but will contain extras that can only be accessed if you’re doing co-op multiplayer. That’s kinda okay, but I don’t want to be locked out of things I’ve paid for just because I don’t have friends, but I can let that one slide I suppose
The Division, on the other hand, practically says that the game simply cannot be played if you don’t have friends to play with making it the imperfect, perfect game.
What you playing at Ubisoft, I really like the look the The Division, but I know for a fact that few, if any, of my friends will be available for me to play with. So I’m essentially going to waste my money buying this game (which I definitely will do anyway).
I know, you’re focusing on co-op multiplayer because that’s what your fans have asked for, I get it; but I’m pretty sure they meant they want it on top of what they’re already getting, not instead of.
PLEASE, I’m begging you, this is has just as much potential as Watch_dogs which turned out to be a total waste of hype, but this could be it. This could be the game we are waiting for. Just make it so I can play on my own…I don’t like people!
